Does the media makes or mar the society?
               All the things has two sides. So does the media makes as well as mars the society. Media shows verities of programs. It attracts all kind of viewers. People all over the world are influenced by the media.
                   In our country media has played an important role in eradicating disease like polio. With the help of famous personalities society is made aware. In wet season people need awareness against disease like malaria, cholera, typhoid, flu and media influence people as it reaches the remote places where even doctors can’t reach. For ex.
·       Media plays an important role in educating children, youngsters and elder  people of the society.
·       The people know about new production launched in the market, new institutes established from the media.
·       Media entertain the society through interesting shows, movies and live performance.
        There are many ways through which society is made. Man is taught, cultured, liberated and made aware. But media also has its ill effects. It also mars the society inversely.
           After watching TV soap or cinema, robbery and such crime may be shaped, suicide may be planned, saas-bahu type etc.
           Robbery in hi-tech manner has increased, cyber- crimes have increased daily we hear of a woman being raped at some corner are also the effects of media in one or the other way.
              Media if used properly makes one best and known but it also image of a person,

Advertisement is involved in the social production of consumers. Explain?
           Anthropologists view it as ritual and symbols giving meaning to artefacts and other objects. Educators are concerned with its influence on child development.
             With data about prospective consumers-including geography, social and psychological characteristics and buying way. The advertisement campaign depends the kind of product or service being sold, the indented audience, the character of the actual audience, the product or service type the context in which it will be used, the medium by which it will be used and the medium by which the message will be transmitted.
          Advertisement  makers are sensitive of stereotyping population groups as the group constitute business for them. Minority advertising has become niche-making, instead of the use of stereotypes. Male and female are given equal importance.
          It effects memory power. People can misuse your identity. People may betray you online. All can not afford internet.
          An ideological vehicle, advertising, is not just constrained by the middle of the road, but also becomes subject to the but also becomes subject to the pushes and pulls of cultural politics, and is punished when it blunders far.

Surrogate Advertising

         Surrogate advertising is a form of advertising which is used to promote banned products like cigarettes and alcohol, in the disguise of another product. This type of advertising uses a product of a fairly close category, as club soda, mineral water in case of alcohol, or products of a completely different category, for example music CD’s or plying cards to hammer the heads of consumers but rather masked under another product under the same brand name, so that whenever there is mention of that brand people start associating it with its main product. In India there is a large number of companies doing surrogate advertising, from Bacardi Blast music CD’s, or mineral water might not even be marketed in real, it is just a strategy used to generate top of the mindrecall. 

Mobile Advertisement
               Mobile advertising as closely related to online or internet advertising, though its reach is far greater- currently, most mobile advertising is targeted at mobile phones that came estimably to a global total of 4.6 billion as of 2009. Notably computers, including desktops and laptops, are currently estimated at 1.1 billion globally. It is probable that advertisers and media industry will increasingly take account of a bigger and fast-growing mobile market, though it remains at around1% of global advertising spend. Mobile media is evolving rapidly and while mobile phones will continue to be the mainstay, it is not clear whether mobile phones based on cellular based on WiFi hot spot or WiMAX hot zone will also strengthen.
             
 Online Advertising
       Online advertising also called Internet advertising use the Internet to deliver promotional marketing message to consumers. It includes email marketing, social media marketing, many types of display advertising media, online advertising frequently involves both a publisher, who intergrades advertisements into its online content, and an advertiser who provides the advertisements to be displayed on the publisher’

Differences  between Classified advertisement and Display advertisement 

Classified Advertisement:- Classified advertisements are much cheaper than larger display advertisements. Classified advertising which is particularly common in newspapers online and other periodicals which may be sold or distributed free of charge advertisements in a newspaper are typically short, as they are charged for by the line, and one newspaper column wide. Classified advertisements mostly placed by private individuals with single items they wish to sell or buy. Free classified advertisements buy and sell items, cars, properties and find or offer jobs publications printing news or other information after have sections of classified advertisements there are also publications which contain only advertisements.
Display Advertisement:- Display advertising is a type of advertising that typically contains text, logos, photographs or other images, location maps, and similar items. In periodicals, display advertising can appear on the same page as or on the page adjacent to general editorial content. In contrast, classified advertising genially appears in a distinct section, was traditionally text only, and was available in a limited selection of typefaces. Display advertisements are not required to contain images, audio, video, textual advertisements are also used where text may be more effective. An example of textual advertisements is commercial messages sent to mobile device users, or email. One common form of display advertising involves billboards. Posters, fliers, transit cards, tents scale nodes are examples of display advertising.
